Terms & Conditions

1. About us

These terms apply to all services provided by Newcastle Boilers, a trading name operating in Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations and pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • Fixed-price quotes cover the scope of work described. Additional work will be quoted separately.
  • Prices shown on our website and calculator are indicative. A final fixed price is confirmed following assessment of your property.
  • We reserve the right to revise a quote if access or site conditions differ materially from what was described.

3. Bookings and cancellations

  • Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a signed acceptance or verbal agreement.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a call-out fee.
  • We will always notify you of any rescheduling required due to engineer availability or emergency callouts.

4. Installation and workmanship

  • All work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers in compliance with current UK Gas Safety Regulations.
  • We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all installations and repairs.
  • Manufacturer warranties are separate and subject to the terms of the relevant manufacturer.
  • Warranty registration requires annual servicing by a Gas Safe engineer (not necessarily us).

5. Finance

  • Finance is subject to status and credit approval.
  • Newcastle Boilers acts as a credit broker, not a lender.
  • 0% APR is offered subject to the terms of the finance provider.
  • Declined finance applications do not affect our obligation to provide a quote for cash payment.

6. Liability

  • We are fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing faults in your heating system or property that are not related to our work.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

7. Payment

  • Payment is due on completion of work unless a finance arrangement is in place.
  • We accept bank transfer, card, and cash.
  • Unpaid invoices may be subject to late payment interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
